Here is some information about little Andrea from her Mom Anjelica Ariana
Andrea is 2 years old. Shes my only child and I am a single mom. I have been raising her on my own since birth. On August 6 things changed in a blink of an eye. I bring her to the ER thinking she could be anemic and I was told the ultimate. My baby had Leukemia. She was admitted into the Diamond Children's immediately after they gave me the devastating news. The next day started we a treatment that treats both A.L.L and A.L.M she also got her first Platelet Transfusion and a blood transfusion a Spinal tap to insert chemotherapy into her spinal cord and take a sample of her spinal fluid to see if she had cancer in her spinal cord and she also had a Bone Marrow biopsy to determine how intense her leukemia is and what type. A couple of days later we recieved the news that she was "High risk" A.L.L which is better then A.L.M because A.L.L has a better chance of survival. So from there they made a game plan she was to get a port inserted onto her heart valve and they were going to start chemotherapy treatments. For the next two months she was getting an intense 5 different kinds of chemotherapy into her port Monday-Thursday a steroid called dexamethasone everyday and a pill form of chemo everyday and 14 other medications daily. For the first month we never left the hospital. The second month we were only home two weeks. This month things changed a bit as of yesterday she started a different kind of treatment she had to get admitted again after only being out 2 weeks for a scary intense 24 hour chemotherapy treatment. And we will be doing this every other week for the next 8 weeks. Its rough on her she's lost her hair her strength and her ability to do what a regular child could be doing. I had to quit my job to be with her everyday. But through this all Andrea keeps a smile on her face and high spirits. Thats what keeps me going. Its going to be a long road but this little girl has so much fight in her. Thank you everyone who took time to read this, and jesse thank you so so much ♡
